We all need plastic, it is used in the manufacture of most household items, cars, clothes and buildings as well as packaging.
Following the BBC’s Blue Planet II documentary series the pollution of the oceans from single use plastic is now at the forefront of our minds.
All of the products manufactured by KLE Plastics are multi use and in fact our crates are helping to fight the pollution battle. As consumers turn to reusable glass to reduce their use of disposable bottles, crates are needed to transport them.
Approximately 80% of the products we produce are made out of recycled material and we recycle all of our offcuts and waste from the production line.
Case Study
We supply one of the UK’s largest dairies with their milk crates. The new crates are made out of 100% recycled material and on delivery we also collect all of the customers broken and damaged crates for recycling.
This forms a closed loop to avoid plastic being discarded and all waste is turned back into new products.
